Why is a microscope used in dentistry?

13 Oct

A dental microscope is an excellent diagnostic tool that allows you to identify lesions that are invisible to the eye. It allows the doctor to work in the technique of minimal invasion.

Scope of application:
— In endodontics, it is used to find channels that are difficult to access or poorly conducted.
— In orthopedics, it helps to sharpen the tooth under the crown in detail, as well as to make ledges.
— In the treatment of caries, it allows dentist to see in detail the damaged areas of the tooth and thoroughly clean everything that contributes to the reappearance of caries.

Carl ZEISS dental microscopes that we use at Stomaservice, thanks to a wide range, take the practice to a fundamentally new level.
